Halfway through Spring Hat Trick Series! Great shows for great causes!
On Monday, April 21, WYCE hosted one of its most successful Hat Trick Concerts ever!
Longtime WYCE favorite folk singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer returned to the Hat Trick Series and put on a beautiful show for a standing-room-only audience at One Trick Pony. At the intermission, representatives of the Specialized Language Development Center shared a few words about their organization, resulting in a record-tying $1,500 in donations! That brings the total for the Spring series close to $2,500, and pushes the historical fundraising total close to the $45,000 point!
WYCE would like to extend major thanks to all of the people who have made this Spring Hat Trick Concert Series a big success so far -- especially the law firm of Rhoades McKee, without whom we wouldn't have been able to book the great acts we have lined up!
If you haven't made it out yet for a Hat Trick show, there's still time. Take a look at the remainder of the schedule here. And remember, all Hat Trick shows are free. We just ask that you bring a little cash (or your checkbook) to make a contribution to the night's charitable beneficiary.
