Record & CD Sale at the Eastown Street Fair!!!

WYCE will be putting on a one day music sale on Saturday, September 20th at the Eastown Streetfair, which is held on Wealthy Street between Atlas and Lake. Come down and enjoy local music, food and art and pick up some records at the WYCE music booth! Thank you to all who have donated music for the sale thus far, however, we could use more! Volunteers will even come and pick your donations up! Any donation of LPs and CDs is encouraged, regardless of artist or genre, as long as they're in good shape. If you're interested in donating music, please e-mail for details.
Tune in for the NEW Red Hot Lunch, beginning Monday, September 8th!

From noon to 1 weekdays, enjoy the NEW Red Hot Lunch!
Your daily special opens with "Red Hot and NEW", a full set of music that's brand new to the WYCE library, airing from noon to 12:20 pm. It continues with twenty minutes of your favorite Blues selections with "Red Hot and BLUE" from 12:20 to 12:40; and finishes up with "Red Hot and YOU", featuring music selected exclusively by YOU our listeners!
Streaming Test Update: On to the next option

WYCE is continuing to experiment with new streaming server options to improve the sound quality and reliability for our online listeners.
We recently halted a test of two new MP3 streams. We encountered encoding problems that made the streams hang up and constantly rebuffer. So, we removed those test streams.
Our Real Audio stream is still available, and won't go away any time in the near future.
So, please stick with us as we try out new streaming options, knowing that we're aiming for the best online listening experience we can provide you.
WYCE Welcomes New Staff...

The WYCE family just got a little bigger, as we welcome Community Relations Coordinator Nicole Leach, and Program Director Matt Jarrells to the staff. Matt and Nicole join Station Manager Kevin Murphy and Music Director Pete Bruinsma, and a team of over 100 volunteers at WYCE. Click "read more" to get the whole story.
